There’s all sorts of fun happening these Easter school holidays across
Berninneit, and the Union Theatre!
With the holidays just around the corner, we’re kicking things off on Thursday 2 April with the grand re-opening of The Union Theatre in Wonthaggi, with a very special screening of The Super Mario Galaxy Movie with exciting guests of honour, Mario and Luigi!

Berninneit Art Gallery
The Second Horizon is a return to painting for multidisciplinary artist Gonzalo Varela.
His paintings in oil, acrylic, and mixed media, imagine future worlds built on the ruins of past societies. Flipping the hierarchy between humanity and machines, and questions whether the post-human form represents evolution or extinction.

Gonzalo will also be hosting a painting masterclass ‘Happy Accidents' at Bernninent Art Studio.
Explore the creative potential of working with accidents and chance as a point of departure in your painting practice.
