What hours is the Arts Centre open?
The Arts Centre is open 30 minutes prior to a cinema session and 60 minutes prior to a live performance.
Do I have to pre-book for cinema or can I buy a ticket at the door?
We strongly recommend that you pre-purchase tickets for all our cinema ahead of time to avoid any queues at the door.

Most times, our sessions do not sell out and you will be able to buy a cinema ticket at the kiosk if you need to.
Accessible seating
Accessible seating is available in Rows A, B, C with wheelchair seating available in row J accessed via the lift.
Where can I park while visiting the Arts Centre?
Don’t get caught out!
Council has introduced Smark Parking to areas of Wonthaggi and Cowes.

I want to bring my infant to a cinema session or performance, do I have to pay for them?
Children aged 2yrs and under are free of charge to enter for a regular cinema session.
For all live performances and special cinema events, please refer to the specific event ticketing information to confirm if there are any entry fees.
Movie duration
All cinema times are available via our both our website and social media platforms. Please note start times listed do not include trailer times, trailers run for minutes prior to the movie commencing.
Do you sell gift cards?
We currently do not have the capability to sell gift cards to our performances.

Cinema Gift Tickets valid for a future film session are available to be purchased from the Arts Centre Kiosk during operating hours.
Refund policy
At Wonthaggi Community Arts Centre we deliver a combination of both Council lead shows and commercial touring programs. As such the refund policy can vary from show to show. Please get in touch via email or phone, where possible we would love to help you obtain a refund.
Can I leave my child unattended?
Children can not be left unattended.
