Description
Skin cancer is our most common and our most costly cancer. Melanoma is the third most common cancer in Australia, and the most common cancer diagnosed in young Australians aged 18-39 years. The good news is skin cancer is highly preventable. Preventing UV damage in the first place is the most effective way to reduce our skin cancer risk. Conquering Skin Cancer is an important film that shines a spotlight on how tackling skin cancer takes all of us. Through compelling interviews with survivors, experts, and celebrities, it advocates for enhanced prevention, early detection, equitable access to treatment and innovative research. It’s a call to protect ourselves and our loved ones.
