Belinda Phillips productions in conjunction with Marrina Mouse's Theatre House proudly present - 'Once Upon A Crumb' A little Christmas Story.

Christmas is Mabel's favourite time of year, a time where magical stories come to life, where old friends meet again and where wishes come true.  We travel back to 1944, where Mabel wishes upon a Christmas star and dreams come true.  Every Christmas, Mabel unwraps her beloved Christmas ornaments and reads her enchanting story of Marrina Mouse's Theatre House pretending she too was part of that very theatre house.  She sets out the next morning to find her beloved story is being showcased in the towns Department Store windows.  Everything seems to change when the windows are closed and how a small crumb of kindness will change Mabel's future forever.

She comes to realise that a dream maybe a wish your heart makes when you are fast asleep, but it is when you are awake that dream you will make but you must take a leap. This Christmas share in Marrina Mouse's Theatre House, proudly has a branch based in Phillip Island.  Marrina Mouse is a symbol of the Melbourne Theatre District and the name Marrina Mouse was derived from the collective group of Theatres that are located in Melbourne.  In 2018, the character Marrina Mouse was created into a children's book to honour and shine a light on Melbourne's Theatre District, for all to gain knowledge of the theatre industry.

'Phillip Island, is my home and a very special place where I and my family have grown up and it was with great pleasure to open our first location of Marrina Mouse's Theatre House on the Island to share my knowledge and for all to be able to take a leap aswell.'  - Belinda Phillips

For we like to look at ourselves as 'Imagineers' as we build our shows from a melting pot of ideas which create curiosity to be able to layer with genres of dance, acting, vocal, costume creation, direction, writing and movement.  Marrina Mouse's Theatre House Phillip Island is open to all ages and abilities with all performers being trained or volunteer to be part of bringing stories to life on stage in the Phillip Island and Bass Coast region.
