In celebration of NAIDOC Week 2025, eight local First Nations artists will take part in thecelebrations through Catching the Light, exhibition, hosted by the Bass Coast / South Gippsland Reconciliation Group Reconciliation Group: The Bass Coast South Gippsland Reconciliation Group was formed in 2005 with the aim of furthering reconciliation between First Nations and Non - First Nations Australians and educating ourselves and the community about Aboriginal history and culture. For over ten years the Reconciliation Group has presented an annual NAIDOC Week First Nations Art Exhibition which showcases and celebrates Aboriginal and Torres Strait islander art.Hero image: Painting by Safina Stewart.
