Melbourne Welsh Male Choir 40th Anniversary Concert @ Wonthaggi

Christmas special event featuring a truly splendid 60 voice ensemble!

This year, 2024, marks 40 years since the choir was formed. The year has begun with a new Music Director, Mitch Meyer, after the retirement of David Ashton-Smith OAM. 

With performances in Royal Albert Hall and Wales’s Cardiff Arms Park along with an international tour in the USA, Canada and the UK the program is directed by David Ashton-Smith OAM, formerly of the English National Opera, Victorian Symphony Orchestra and the Australian Pops Orchestra.

The Wonthaggi Union Community Arts Centre and cinema opens 30 minutes prior to a cinema sessions and 60 minutes prior to a live performances. We strongly recommend that you pre-purchase tickets ahead of time to avoid disappointment. Accessible seating is available.
