About

Presented by ALWAYS LIVE with special guest Gena Rose Bruce.

Australian music sensation Brad Cox is back on the road with his much-anticipated "Yarns and Yodels" solo tour, bringing his unique blend of music and storytelling to audiences across Gippsland and exclusive to Victoria.

Fresh off a hugely successful nationwide solo tour, Brad is ready to enchant fans with intimate performances in a series of new show dates:

The "Yarns and Yodels" tour offers a distinct departure from Brad's high-energy full band performances, providing a more personal and up-close experience. This format showcases Brad's versatility as an artist, seamlessly blending his musical talents with his knack for engaging and humorous storytelling. Fans can expect an eclectic mix of upbeat country rock tunes, heartfelt piano ballads, and plenty of laughter along the way.

Brad Cox’s solo performances are renowned for their authenticity and charm, drawing inspiration from stand-up comics like Bert Kreischer and Tom Segura. Brad’s witty banter and candid anecdotes create a warm and inviting atmosphere, making each show a memorable experience.

Reflecting on the origins of "Yarns and Yodels," Brad shares, “The concept for the Yarns and Yodels shows was born out of the pandemic. After stripping back the show to an acoustic, sit-down, solo setting during lockdown, I fell in love with the format again. It forced me to re-learn songs and play them as they were written. Me, a bottle of wine, and the shits with the world - that’s the formula for good songs”

In addition to his touring success, Brad has recently released a series of live tracks as part of the "Hot Lettuce Sessions - Live in Hobart," featuring cover songs and new unreleased material. This latest project further cements his reputation as a dynamic and innovative artist in the Australian music scene.

Brad Cox's third studio album, 'Acres,' released in May 2023, topped the ARIA Country Charts and saw an overwhelming response during his 'Acres Tour,' selling 30,000 tickets across Australia.

Brad continues to captivate audiences with his down-to-earth persona and heartfelt music, making him one of the country’s most celebrated musicians.

As he gears up for the Gippsland tour, Brad is also preparing to release new music, promising fans some exciting news in the near future. Don’t miss the chance to experience Brad Cox’s "Yarns and Yodels" tour – a night of music, stories, and laughter that will leave you wanting more.
