2024 Oscar Nominated Short Films

Oscar Animated Shorts and Oscar Live Action Shorts are two special releases of the 2024 Oscar nominated short films, and are available to watch on the big screen for a limited time from 22 Feb 2024.   Each nominee is released in one of two feature-length compilations according to their category of nomination: Live Action or Animation.   The 5 short films from both categories are below. The Academy Awards will be held at noon Mon 11 Mar 2024 (AEDT).

•   The Wonderful World of Henry Sugar – Wes Anderson and Steven Rales, 37 min., US/UK (in English)

NB: As collections of short films, these shorts will not go through the formalised rating process. We are unable to guarantee suitability for children and minors.

We strongly recommend that you pre-purchase tickets online ahead of time to avoid disappointment, particularly during the summer cinema sessions.

Berninneit cultural centre and cinema opens 30 minutes prior to a cinema sessions and 60 minutes prior to a live performances. Accessible seating is available.
